The boys of Claires Court put together goodie boxes, which were then sent out to the soldiers on the front line.
The boxes included small treats of sweets, toiletries, games and dried food. Some of the boys wrote lovely letters and we were lucky enough to have a number of replies. A big thanks to all the boys for all of the tremendous effort which was put into making these boxes up.
Venue: Altwood School – Maidenhead
Some of the children took part in a sponsored silence during their lunch break and raised over £2000.
Wendy went along to join in the fun and the children made her feel very welcome and presented her with a lovely yellow poster, which they had all signed.
A big thanks goes to Jan Dexter for organising this event.
